A time to remember
We respect that for each person it is an entirely different experience; a feeling which is unique to them. No-one can compare their grief or know how another person truly copes with their difficult, if not impossible, journey.
For some, finding ways to reflect and remember that special person is part of their grieving process and integral to the arduous journey that lied ahead.
Understandably, it is a sensitive and poignant consideration and we are both honoured and humbled when we are chosen to be part of that unique and personal journey.
Gifts in Memory
Donations in memory of a loved one are a special way to remember someone who is no longer at our side, whilst supporting a charity which may have helped them during their lifetime or perhaps they supported, personally. It may simply be that you are familiar with our work and know they would have approved.
One way you can do this is by asking for donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral.
You may also wish to consider donating in memory on special occasions, such as birthdays, at Christmas or as a regular gift, on an anniversary.
For some, taking part in an event and dedicating it in memory is another way to feel close to their loved one, whilst supporting our work.
Book of Remembrance
If you would like a lasting testament to your loved one entered in to our special Book of Remembrance, we would be honoured to arrange this with you. There is no cost for setting this up and a copy of your personal dedication, as a bespoke page in memory, can be sent to you as a keepsake, if this would be of comfort to you and your family.
Things to consider
If you are a UK tax payer, you can help us to support children and families through Adventure Therapy to an even greater extent if you are able to Gift Aid your donation. This means that for every £1.00 you donate, the government will provide a further 25p. Please let us know if you are able to do this or you can download our Gift Aid declaration and send it with your donation, by clicking here.
Please let us know if you would like any further information or you are planning to take part in an event and would like support.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.
