Area Fundraiser - Devon

We have a rare opportunity for an Area Fundraiser (homebased) to join our charity in Devon.  We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and dedication to develop fundraising in the area, growing income through the community, businesses and events. 

 

As a person who is confident, particularly with meeting new people and through public speaking, you will raise awareness of Adventure Therapy in your area and be prepared to meet non-financial and financial targets. It is vital that you are organised and able to manage your diary effectively, in addition to managing volunteers who will support you in your role. It is also essential that you have experience and proven success in a relevant fundraising or sales role.

 

A driving license is a requirement and you will need to work evenings and weekends on occasion.

2-year fixed term contract with the expectation the role will become permanent following this period, subject to targets being met.

 

22.5 hours per week (3 days)

 

£25,806 - £28,181 FTE (£15,693 - £16,052 actual during initial fixed term period)

In the UK we are in the middle of a mental health crisis and we are receiving an increasing number of referrals to our service.
