A gift in a Will, often referred to as a legacy or bequest, is a way of leaving part of your estate to a person, organisation or charity after your death.

While gifts can take the form of property, possessions or investments, many people choose to leave a financial gift to a charity they have supported during their lifetime or whose values and work they believe in.

Enriching children’s lives

At Adventure Therapy, every gift we receive helps us support and enrich the lives of children, young people and adults living with mental health conditions, neurodevelopmental disorders, physical disabilities, life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses, and other life-changing conditions.

We understand that leaving a gift in your Will is an important decision. You may wish to discuss your intentions with your family, as well as seeking advice from your solicitor or legal adviser. Further information about leaving a legacy to Adventure Therapy can be found below. In particular, it is helpful to consider the type of gift you would like to leave and whether you would like it to support our general charitable work or be restricted to a specific area of our services.

We can help you

To make the process as simple as possible, our Free Will Writing Service enables you to prepare your Will at no cost to you or Adventure Therapy. You can complete your Will online or arrange a home visit through Accord Legal Services.
